McNabb and Davis are two of several players-turned-commentators named in a new filing in a lawsuit brought by a former wardrobe stylist at NFL Network, a group that also includes current employees Marshall Faulk, Heath Evans and Ike Taylor.
Eric Weinberger, president of the Bill Simmons Media Group and a former NFL Network executive, was suspended by the media group as a result of allegations made about him in the lawsuit.
"Marshall Faulk, Ike Taylor, and Heath Evans have been suspended from their duties at NFL Network pending an investigation into these allegations", an NFL Network rep said in a statement.

The lawsuit, filed against NFL Enterprises in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, lists several specific and detailed complaints against Faulk, Evans, and Weinberger.
Taylor and Evans, also both former National Football League players, were both accused in the complaint of sending explicit photos or videos of themselves in the nude with comments such as "you're making me horny".
The woman says she was also sexually harassed by other people at the network, and is claiming wrongful termination. Faulk "became more aggressive", including one instance where he allegedly invited Cantor to his hotel room where she witnessed him expose his genitals and made sexually suggestive remarks.
Faulk - "Instead of saying good morning, Mr. Faulk greeted (Cantor) by fondling her breasts and groping her behind", the lasuire said.

The lawsuit accuses McNabb - the former star quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles - of sending harassing text messages to Cantor.
A spokesperson for The Ringer told NBC News: "These are very serious and disturbing allegations that we were made aware of today".
The NFL Network issued a statement announcing the suspensions and that it would conduct its own internal investigation.
"Weinberger hung up the phone when reached for comment". Cantor also alleges that the network did not reimburse her for expenses, and failed to pay her adequately for the hours she worked.
