The ZTE Blade V9 Vita is a standout budget phone thanks to its trendy 18:9 display that's become popular thanks to higher-end all-screen phones.

ZTE on Sunday added a pair of smartphones to its Blade portfolio of devices. Prices start at €269 (around $330) for the Blade V9 and €179 (around $220) for the Blade V9 Vita.

ZTE's Blade series is a tier under the top-of-the-line Axon series, and as such garners somewhat of a mid-range distinction. Smartphones based on the new OS will run a totally different set of Google apps, carrying the "Go" suffix.
