The Browns are continuing to make moves, as they've agreed to trade defensive tackle Danny Shelton to the Patriots, according to a report from ESPN.

The Browns aren't done trading yet, completing four trades in less than 24 hours.

The Browns chose to trade Shelton after the defensive line unit featuring Trevon Coley, Larry Ogunjobi, and Caleb Brantley played exceptionally well last season.

Curry (ankle) out at least two games
Bell will be re-evaluated by team doctors Tuesday, sidelining him for Friday's game in Portland and Sunday's game in Minnesota. Curry entered Friday's contest averaging 26.8 points, 6.3 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 49 games played for the 50-14 Warriors.

Shelton was drafted No. 12 overall by the Browns in 2015 out of the University of Washington and has spent the past two seasons in Cleveland. With Shelton's deal, the Browns have released all of their seven first-round draft picks from 2012-15. ESPN reporter Adam Schefter summarized the flurry of comings and goings in a tweet Saturday following the Shelton deal. He started 45 of 46 games here, recording 129 tackles and only 1.5 sacks. The Browns also pulled off a trade with the Packers that sent DeShone Kizer to Green Bay and added a potential starting cornerback for Cleveland. He had 33 tackles and one pass breakup in 14 games last season.

The 6-foot-2, 335-pound Shelton is slated to earn a base salary of $2.03 million in 2018.

Shelton will fill in nicely for the Patriots on early downs, as he should be a good replacement for Alan Branch.

Shelton joins Malcom Brown, Lawrence Guy, Adam Butler and Vincent Valentine on the Patriots' defensive tackle depth chart.

Along with Shelton, a mid-round 2019 selection will head to Bill Belichick while Cleveland's expected to receive a Pats 2018 draft pick. And New England's defense was gashed for 164 yards on the ground in the Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
