I want to believe that Richard Sherman hated (Michael) Crabtree and everybody on the 49ers.

The Oakland Raiders seemed to be in play when the Seattle Seahawks released Pro Bowl cornerback Richard Sherman on Friday. With a franchise QB under center, San Francisco is reportedly turning to their defense in order to make key additions to their roster. A restricted free agent last offseason, Shead signed a one-year deal worth $1.2 million.

When quizzed about Sherman's future at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine, head coach Pete Carroll stated that there was "nothing specific" to say with regards to trading Sherman. "I helped the organization get to a great place and stay there", Sherman told The MMQB.

"‏Welcome back to the Bay and to Santa Clara @RSherman_25!" He already has a visit lined up with the Detroit Lions, according to Foster.

On the flip side, the 49ers' pursuit of Sherman came after they looked into acquiring veteran cornerback Aqib Talib, only he rejected a potential trade from the Denver Broncos and instead accepted one to the Los Angeles Rams, ESPN reported Sunday morning.

Peters, with an NFL-leading 19 interceptions since 2015, is nearly five years younger than Sherman, who turns 30 at the end of this month.

Thomas' tweet was not out there long before Sherman was out there setting things straight.

But the Patriots would have been able to handle Sherman's team-friendly deal.

"Once I make a Pro Bowl, $8 million the next year is guaranteed for me". Unheard of. And he did so with one of the top negotiators in the entire league.

Matt Breida figures to have a significant role after averaging 4.4 yards per carry - a higher clip than Hyde - but the 49ers do not know what they have in either Joe Williams, who spent his rookie year on injured reserve, or Jeremy McNichols. Adding a player like Sherman only adds to that excitement.

Think of it this way, Seattle fans: It's time again to get out the Sharpie and circle the dates for 49ers games. Sure, he ate a huge turkey leg on the 49ers logo on Thanksgiving. Afterward, Sherman and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson sit at a table provided them on the 49ers logo at midfield and chow on some turkey for the postgame television show.

Off the field, Sherman was known to be outspoken, charitable and knowledgeable in the Seattle community which made him one of the well-known players in the National Football League today.

Sherman saw more to the 49ers than Garoppolo.

Playing the Seahawks twice this season might give Sherman a taste of vengeance he craves.

People took it as disrespectful - as least they did around here.
