A November blog post on the website Fansided congratulating Brown on her birthday wrote: "DuShon is one of the warmest, most welcoming and most vibrant folks in the One Chicago universe, and she imbues Connie with not only that "don't mess with me" kind of authority, but a real personality". Medical examiner is conducting investigation on her death.
