Sarah Jessica Parker is supporting her Sex and the City co-star Cynthia Nixon's foray into politics.

The actress and activist will challenge Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the state's Democratic primary in September.

In a short statement toPage Six, Parker said that: "Cynthia has been my friend and colleague since we were little girls".

VW's Atlas pickup truck concept is real, but don't get too excited
Unlike the (previous and long-time VW fan fetish) Amarok, this concept is sporting a powertrain that is already U.S-certified. It looks great but, more importantly, it's useful functionality that other pickup makers aren't yet offering.

The "Sex and the City" alum took to Instagram and shared her support for Nixon's bid to run for Governor of NY. "I know that she would be an excellent Governor!" she wrote.

The Divorce star took to Instagram to announce the news, writing that Nixon has her "love, support and vote".

The socially shared words of encouragement follow speculation that Parker wouldn't be pairing her signature stilettos with a "Nixon for Guv" T-shirt anytime soon.

All-New 2019 Toyota RAV4 & RAV4 Hybrid - Pictures, Specs, Details
When it begins selling later this year, the 2019 RAV4 will be offered in five versions for the ICE engine and four for the hybrid. All conventional RAV4s for Canada are built in Woodstock, Ont., and for the first time, the hybrid will also be built in Canada.

As much as Nixon deserves to be left out of that mess, though, she ended up landing in some Sarah Jessica Parker drama of her own.

Later, on Instagram, Parker made it clear that she supports her good friend. "I'm so proud of her and I know she will work tirelessly to create change for all who need representation".

Nixon received rousing endorsement from another "SATC" alum Kristin Davis, who tweeted in support of the actor the day she announced her campaign.

Past And Present Steelers Critical Of NFL's Rule Change
The precedent for this ruling was actually decided by officials calling a Lions-Bears game in 2010. So it is decreed, in the name of safety. This isn't a new helmet-to-helmet rule.

Kim Cattral also backed Nixon - who played career-driven lawyer, Miranda Hobbes on the hit show - in a reserved tweet. "She's an unbelievable person, and she's been talking about the schools and the children and I wish we had more people like that who are interested in the government", she told The Cut. Now, the campaign is capitalizing on the attention by selling "Unqualified Lesbian" buttons, which I suppose makes Unqualified Lesbians the Nasty Women of 2018.
