Hours after leaving prison, the 76ers fan arrived at the home playoff games hours shortly after leaving jail, about 45 minutes prior to tipoff, ESPN reports.

Meek was given a two-year sentence in December 2017 for violating probation but after appealing the decision, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania made the decision to overrule after Judge Genece E. Brinkley was criticised for "holding a grudge" against the defendant and "keeping him in prison".

Rapper Meek Mill has been released from prison.

As it turned out, the team sent a helicopter to pick him up, ensuring he would make it to the Wells Fargo Center in time to ring the ceremonial bell before the game. He was driven straight from prison to a parking lot where he was swept into a helicopter with his friend, Sixers co-owner Michael Grubin, to fly to the team's fifth game of the National Basketball Association playoffs at Wells Fargo Arena.

Brad Stevens' Masterful Adjustments Swing Series In Celtics' Favor
The Bucks were understandably steamed about the missed call and the lack of a replay review that might've rectified it. Jaylen Brown (14 points) and Marcus Morris (10 points) were also in double figures for the Celtics.

Meek Mill had been serving a 2-4 year sentence for violating his probation, leading to many in the local community to call for his release, arguing the punishment far outweighs his crime.

Mill issued a statement saying the past months had been "a nightmare", and thanked his many supporters and visitors, who included Rubin, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Democratic Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney.

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart was filmed visiting Meek Mill in prison on Tuesday.

In an op-ed a year ago for The New York Times, Jay-Z said that Mill's case was "just one example of how our criminal justice system entraps and harasses hundreds of thousands of black people every day". If so, the prosecution can elect to drop its case. "I plan to work closely with my legal team to overturn this unwarranted conviction and look forward to reuniting with my family and resuming my music career". He also thanked the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, which recently said it would not oppose immediate bail and expressed doubt about the credibility of a police officer, who was a key witness in Williams' case.

The pilot and model contested keenly for the grand prize of 25 million and a brand new auto alongside other housemates for 85days. Miracle was a force to be reckoned with when it came to the games and competitions in the Big Brother Naija house.

Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ: "Meek was unjustly convicted and should not have spent a single day in jail".

The Supreme Court denied a defense request to move the case to another judge, but said the presiding judge could opt to remove herself.
