Kushner Lawyer: Mueller Interviewed Jared About Campaign Influence, Transition Contacts, and Obstruction

Zaid, a veteran Washington lawyer who handles security clearances, said it was highly unlikely that the special counsel would uncover evidence of improper foreign entanglements and not flag it for security officials.

"Since then, he has continued this complete cooperation, providing a large number of documents and sitting for hours of interviews with congressional committees and providing numerous documents and sitting for two interviews with the office of special counsel", Lowell said.

Kushner obtained his permanent security clearance credentials after a yearlong process of background checks, the New York Times reported, citing a person briefed on the matter.

Donald Trump again accuses Barack Obama of spying on him, without evidence
Wow, word seems to be coming out that the Obama FBI "SPIED ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN WITH AN EMBEDDED INFORMANT". His team has been weighing whether to allow Mr Trump to sit for an interview with Mr Mueller.

Kushner, who serves as a senior adviser on the Middle East and other issues, was among many White House advisers who had been operating for months without full security clearances. This caps a almost 18- month review of his security application, which was held up after Kushner failed to disclose contacts he had with foreign officials - including Russians - as required by law.

Kushner's lawyer said Wednesday that Kushner completed the background check process that began previous year. "On each occasion, he answered all questions asked and did everything he could to expedite the conclusion of all the investigations".

The news comes as Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law, lost access to sensitive intelligence in February because he was never permanently cleared by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and was operating on an interim security clearance, which only gave him access to "secret" level intelligence, The NYT reported. But now it appears that the investigators haven't found anything which would have deemed Kushner a security threat.

Moktada al-Sadr Leads In Iraqi Election Count
Sadr has recently campaigned against corruption and can summon millions into the streets to protest policies he opposes. Turnout was 44.52%, the Independent High Electoral Commission said, significantly lower than in previous elections.

The renewed access to top-secret intelligence comes three months after Kushner's level of security clearance was downgraded from "top secret" to merely "secret".

The White House had earlier stated that it is not unusual for people with multiple foreign dealings having to wait a while to get their permanent security clearance, but Robert Mueller's investigation, coupled with such a long delay, was certain to cast aspersions about the possible reasons that Jared Kushner was not being cleared by the FBI.

Kushner's initial SF-86 form did not mention any foreign contacts, though he quickly supplemented it to indicate that he would provide that information. He submitted another addendum in mid-May 2017 detailing more than 100 calls or meetings with representatives of more than 20 countries.

Yanny or Laurel? Soundbite still has internet divided
The White House is far from the the first corner of Washington to weigh in on a topic that many have found earresistible. In fact, I began to wonder how in the world anyone could hear "Laurel". "All I hear is covfefe", President Trump says.

Giuliani also urged the swift wrapping of the probe in the backdrop of former FBI Director James Comey revelation in the last days of the 2016 presidential race that he was reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton's email server, according to several media reports.
