This device will be released at the same time as the Nintendo Switch Pokemon Let's Go games.

As mentioned, a lot of the core mechanics are influenced by Pokemon Go. We also know that the first 150 Pokemon as well as their Alolan forms from Sun and Moon would appear in the Let's Go titles. Though Pokemon purists will not appreciate this change, it could be an interesting new feature that differentiates the game from the handheld series, so we're interested to see how it shakes out.

Game Freak is clearly looking to make Pokemon Let's Go as accessible as possible, allowing the game to be controlled using just one Joy-Con. It also has a gyroscope inside so users can affect the device's functionality via motion controls.

Pokemon Let's Go will have Pokemon Go connectivity, with players able to transfer the Pokemon they have captured in Pokemon Go to Pokemon Let's Go's Go Park.
