It sounds like the iOS 12 update only applies to the lock screen when your display is off - testers report you can still capture a lock screen screenshot when the display is on - so it doesn't mean you'll never snap an accidental screenshot again.

Apple has announced new digital wellness features to help combat technology addiction at their Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in San Jose on June 4.

Screen Time - which is similar to what Google is introducing in Android P - shows you how much you use your iPhone and provides weekly activity reports, so you can see just what you've been using your device for.

The iPhone's Do Not Disturb feature will be enhanced, including new options that will automatically end Do Not Disturb based on a specified time or location. With App Limits, Apple's also going to expand some of its parental controls, so parents can restrict how long their kids spend in certain apps, or certain types of apps.

Apple's next macOS will be named Mojave, after the desert in California. The software-focused conference didn't include any hardware-related announcements, but the company did unveil a bevy of upgrades that will roll out in the coming months. Previously FaceTime calls were limited to just one-on-one, but iOS 12 is expected to facilitate group FaceTime calls with up to a whopping 32 people at once.
