Colombia’s ‘most powerful’ cartel offers $70k for police sniffer dog that busted tons of coke

The Urabeños offered a bounty of up to 200 million Colombian pesos - almost $70,000 - for the canine's life, Colombia's national police said last week.

The German shepherd called Sombra, which means "shadow" in Spanish, has helped to intercept nearly ten tonnes of cocaine, with a street value of about $500 million, being shipped by the Urabeños drug cartel from ports on the Caribbean.
