Donald Trump says collusion 'is not a crime,' insists his campaign did not collude with Russia

For more than a year, Trump's "catchphrase has been "no collusion, '" Colbert said".

"It's just flat-out untrue", Mr Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, said on "Fox News Sunday" about the claims.

Gates and Manafort worked closely together for years, including in Ukraine, and they were indicted at the same time by Mueller. Manafort is charged with bank fraud, conspiracy, preparing false tax returns and failing to disclose foreign income.

Giuliani also vaguely questioned Mueller's fitness to lead the investigation, which he took over after Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey previous year.
