YouTube dark mode begins rolling out to Android users

YouTube for Android gets dark theme

The dark theme basically reverses the color of the YouTube app UI (user interface) by replacing the white background with black.

As The Verge reported, the feature was first added to YouTube desktop last year, followed by iOS in March this year. Those who totally hate the dark theme's particular shade of gray unfortunately can't opt for a deeper shade of black, though.

Tap Dark theme to enable it. Once you exit from Settings, your background will automatically become dark as you scroll through the feed of videos.

'On fire': Some Manchester United fans react to Fred's first start
He said, "My professional players were fantastic all pre-season because they know we play against good teams, against good opponents".

YouTube developed Dark Theme specifically to cut down on glare and allow users to take in the true colors of the videos they're watching.

Now, Android users are beginning to get the feature on their apps. As in desktop, you can do it by selecting the account icon, then tapping the Dark theme option just above the Settings option.

The reason for this is help protect the user's vision, as staring closely at a bright screen in a dimly-lit room for too long can damage it temporarily.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says the Trump administration is seeking partners, not domination, in the Indo-Pacific. The $113 million in assistance will clearly not scratch the surface of the financing needs in the Indo-Pacific region.

The setting to enable the dark mode, according to 9to5Google, can be found under Settings General Dark theme.

Anyways though, like we already said, Dark Mode on YouTube for Android isn't available for all the users yet. For more details on dark mode, check out our guide. It is worth noting that such changes have previously received the web-version of the video, and then the developers have updated the app for iOS. With this being accomplished, YouTube service features would finally be uniform throughout all operating systems.
