Report: Teddy Bridgewater to be traded to Saints from the New York Jets

The New York Jets struck a big trade with the Saints on Wednesday, sending quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and a sixth-round to New Orleans for a third-round pick.

McCown has played just one series in the preseason and will likely serve as a mentor to Darnold and a spot starter for the Jets if the rookie falters.

Elon Musk is back to insinuating Thai cave diver is a "pedo"
The controversy is one of several that Musk has found himself in lately as a result of his Twitter exploits. In July, Unsworth told the Guardian he was considering taking legal against Musk.

It wasn't immediately clear who else or what picks are included in the trade.

The Saints have a new QB behind Drew Brees: Teddy Bridgewater. NY also brought back veteran QB Josh McCown, who completed 67.3% of his passes for 2,926 yards with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 13 games last season.

Jose Mourinho storms out of press conference demanding respect
Even his heaviest home loss wasn't enough to defeat Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho's fighting spirit on Monday. After rounding Hugo Lloris , however, the Belgian striker screwed his shot just wide.

The preseason finale is upon the New York Jets as they end it on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles in Lincoln Financial Field. "We look forward to working with him and watching him continue to develop as a player". However, before the start of the 2016 season, Bridgewater suffered a debilitating knee injury that kept him out of football for over a year.

The Saints appear to have chose to upgrade at backup quarterback behind Drew Brees this year.

Sacha Baron Cohen did a remarkably uncomfortable interview with OJ Simpson
Gio said he'd like to "send her on a private helicopter and throw her over the Grand Canyon - oopsy daisy". Tell us what you think! Simpson said. "Help me!" "Ah, I didn't either", Cohen's character replied.

Brees, who will turn 40 in January, signed a new two-year, $50m deal with the Saints in March but Bridgewater represents a potential successor. He has not been intercepted, but also has not thrown a touchdown pass, and the Saints offense has moved the ball inconsistently with Savage under center.
