Juventus maintain 100% Serie A start but concerns remain about misfiring Ronaldo

Manchester United did not have the chance to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo last summer, manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed.

The former Real Madrid striker beat competition from 11 nominees for the award in honor of his goal in last season's Champions League quarter-final first leg in Turin.

"They don't hide", he said admiringly, having previously gone public with his own disappointment at United's failure to land more than one of his transfer targets.

Andrea Barzagli's son Mattia and Claudio Marchisio's son David are now teammates of Ronaldo Jr. but they could only watch on in awe as the eight-year-old ran riot in front of goal.
