Olivia Newton-John, 69, reveals the tragic cancer diagnosis she kept secret

Actress/singer Olivia Newton-John has confirmed she has been diagnosed with cancer for a third time.

The Grease star gave an extended interview on Australia's Sunday Night program in which she revealed another tumor was found previous year after it seemed she was in remission.

Speaking about keeping the diagnoses under wraps, she said: 'I thought, "It's my life" and I just chose to keep it to myself'. The Grease star revealed for pain, she is taking cannabis oil, made from marijuana her husband John Easterling grows in California.

In a bid to fight the illness, the 69-year-old has completely cut down on sugar, and has turned to herbal remedies to help her.

She continued: "My husband's ... always there to support me, and I believe I will win over it and that's my goal".

She said she hopes her native Australia will legalize medical marijuana.

In May 2017, Newton-John cancelled tour dates after her breast cancer returned and spread to her sacrum.

"What we all thought she defeated is still there", he said. "I see it as part of my mission maybe".

Newton-John said that she's undergone radiation treatment for the tumour, and is still treating the cancer "naturally". I have a wonderful husband. I have nothing, really, to complain about, ' she told Australia's Sunday Night. I have all the animals that I adore.
