Before this package was reported, authorities said pipe bombs stashed in manila envelopes were discovered this week addressed to seven prominent Trump critics: Former President Barack Obama; former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; former Attorney General Eric Holder; Democratic US Rep. Maxine Waters; former Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan (sent to CNN's NY offices); former Vice President Joe Biden; and billionaire investor and Democratic donor George Soros.

Police were called at 4:45 a.m. Thursday about the package, which was on the building's seventh floor.

Details about how authorities ultimately found the Biden package on Thursday morning in DE weren't immediately available. Those contained "potentially destructive devices", according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The Secret Service intercepted two of the packages, which were addressed to former President Obama's home in Washington and Bill and Hillary Clinton's residence in Westchester County, New York.

On Wednesday, employees at CNN and within the Time Warner Center building were forced to evacuate after receiving mysterious explosive devices.

He made no direct reference to the device found at the restaurant, or any of the earlier incidents.
